Toxicology Studies
Rodenta Bioserve is a DCA GLP compliant contract research facility dedicated to accelerating drug development and preclinical studies. With a team of interdisciplinary researchers and state-of-the-art facilities, we offer a comprehensive range of pharmacology and toxicology services to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Our scientists conduct a range of acute, sub-chronic and chronic toxicity tests for assessing drug toxicity. While, Acute toxicity studies are conducted to determine the short-term adverse effects of a drug which is administered either as a single dose or as a divided doses in a period of 24 hours, while sub chronic toxicity studies are conducted to determine the toxicity of test compounds after repeated administration of small doses. The adverse effects of the test compound’s following prolonged repeated exposure is determined by chronic toxicity studies.
- Acute Toxicity Studies: Determining short-term adverse effects of a drug through single or divided doses within 24 hours.
- Sub-Chronic Toxicity Studies: Assessing toxicity after repeated administration of small doses.
- Chronic Toxicity Studies: Evaluating adverse effects following prolonged repeated exposure.
- Single Dose/6 Pack Studies
- Oral Toxicity: Including acute oral toxicity, maximum tolerable dose range finding studies, and more.
- Inhalation Toxicity
- Dermal Toxicity: Assessing single dose dermal toxicity and skin irritation.
- Skin Sensitization Studies
- Eye Irritation Studies
